I’ve been sitting on this for FAR too long…
It was the best of times, it was actually the best of times. Seriously.

“When Did Your Innocence Die?”
-thekeenone
The question posed by thekeenone and Agent B and the theme of their upcoming album together. To build the hype (and you better forget what Flava Flav said for this one) the pair released the single “We Don’t Understand”:
The folks at Absolut have this to say about the collaboration with Jay…
Continuing to collaborate with creative visionaries, ABSOLUT Vodka presents this new 15-minute short film featuring Jay-Z. The documentary, titled NY-Z, was directed by Danny Clinch and paints a rare portrait of the global hip-hop icon. With unprecedented access to Jay-Z the days and moments leading up to, and after, his legendary September 11th benefit concert at Madison Square Garden, Danny Clinch gives us an intimate glimpse into Jay-Z: his childhood, his motivation as an artist, his passion for music, and his muse, New York.
Big Boi dropped this a single months ago, but here’s the video. Fuck this is so funky and George Clinton is still a rainbow haired pimp! Word on the blogs is that Big Boi’s album, “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty”, will drop March 23.
Subtitle comes through with a new video for “Leggings are the Style of the Day” from the “LA City Strobe” EP. Featuring the talents of Monk Relova, Amanda Kenney, Jenny Harrison, Sarah Harrell and Dani Campfield and directed by Robby Massey.
The quality of this video is very high. It comes across to me as a creepy Napoleon Dynamite considering the awkward actions of the main character and his over obsession of creeping. The sweet teen stache doesn’t hurt the mood of video either!
Thanks to UGSMAG for this one. Moka Only Ron Contour and Factor hook up to drop this interesting video for “Glad”, the first single from “Saffron” (Available later this month on Fake Four). I bet it’s Patty C is in the Sasquatch suit. Directed by Stuey Kubrick
Mayer Hawthorne is the man (and not because he’s kinda my doppleganger minus the beard). He’s bringing old Detroit soul back to music, dope videos and all without sacrificing any integrity. If you’re not familiar with him I suggest you check out his album “A Strange Arrangement” or his profile on StonesThrow.com
The Gorillaz are back (and so is Bruce Willis)! Stylo is the first single from thier new album, “Plastic Beach”, which is in stores next Tuesday. The video seems a little Tarantino-esque, which is cool, but I don’t think the song really holds it’s weight against it. Judge for yourself.
As some of you know, Guru of the legendary Gangstarr is currently in a coma after suffering from cardiac arrest. Details are scarce from his camp so far and they are asking for privacy. We want you to keep him in your mind and hearts and hopefully these videos will do so. GET WELL GURU!
